A private pilot may share flight expenses with passengers only if:
A.
Passengers pay no more than 50% of total costs
B.
The pilot pays at least their pro-rata share and the flight is not for hire — the pilot cannot profit
C.
The flight is conducted under Part 135 air carrier rules
